What Could I Ever Do For The Lord?

“What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?” - Psalm 116.12-13

God has been so good to me for another year!  What can I do for the LORD because He has been so good to me?!

This is the question in the verse above.

When we see all that God has done for us, when we focus on Him and His work in our lives and count our many blessings – we may also find ourselves asking, “What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?”

What could I ever do for the Lord?   What could I give to the Lord to show my gratitude?

The Psalmist goes on to say, “I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.”

Do we know the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour?

Have we taken the cup of salvation?

If so, then we can take this same salvation everywhere we go!  We can realize and enjoy the benefits that come from knowing the Lord and sharing the salvation of the Lord with others!  Then we truly make the most of “all his benefits” for ourselves, and those around us!
