That’s not a word we use every day! In fact, I’m not sure I have ever used that word.
“Amiable”. It means loved or beloved.

“Emmanuel... God with us.”
Matthew 1.23
This verse amazes me because Jesus was... God... with us.
It amazes me that God the Father sent Jesus, and that Jesus willing obeyed. (Philippians 2.5-8)
It amazes me because I will spend my life thinking about this verse, believing it and accepting it with all my heart, but it is so far beyond my mind that I could never completely understand it.
