Open Our Eyes Lord

And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man...”

2 Kings 6.17

Do you ever try and try... and try - to help someone see something that they just can’t seem to see?

Of course we do - if we have anything to do with serving the Lord – just like the situation with Elisha here.

We must understand the part we play in the lives of people by simple PRAYER.  (Because God does hear it!)

That was all Elisha did here.  It was all he could do.  “And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see.”

As we do our part, the Lord will do His part... He “opened the eyes of the young man...”

So we pray...

Lord please open the eyes of our loved ones, those around us to see their need of Salvation.

Lord open the eyes of those who have slipped away from You to see their need of Grace.

Lord open the eyes of those who have grown cold to see their need to be on fire for You.

Lord open the eyes of those who are weary, or fearful, or discouraged to see that, “they that be with us are more than they that be with them.“!

Lord, please open my eyes to see all I need to patiently, prayerfully and humbly see!

And the LORD opened the eyes...”

Run with patience,
