All... All... All.

“...all... all... all...” - Genesis 39.5,22 &41.41

There are three times in the life of Joseph when he was put in a position of responsibility of “all” of something.

Genesis 39:5  “And it came to pass from the time that he (Potiphar) had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.”

Genesis 39:22  “And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.”

Genesis 41:41  “And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.”

The LORD prepared Joseph for the work he would eventually do!  Joseph learned to be diligent and work hard whether he was in charge of a household, or a prison, or a nation and the stable food source of the world in that day!

So we learn to be diligent where the Lord has us.  We learn to be busy about our heavenly Father’s business.  There are things that we are completely responsible for: all of our time, all of our thoughts, all of our attitude, all of our words... may God bless us to see the opportunities to excel, and grow, and learn and be faithful as we prepare for our tomorrows and for eternity.

Run with patience,
