“precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little”

Isaiah 28:13

80 km per hour.

“Ye must be born again.”

“precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line;

here a little, and there a little”

80 km per hour.

“Ye must be born again.”

“precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line;

here a little, and there a little”

This could get kind of boring, redundant, and repetitive, right?  The point is this:  We have been told what we should do… whether it’s a speed limit, or how to get to heaven, over and over and over again!  We can choose to follow the “precepts”, and do what we’re told, or… we can do whatever we want to do!

No one can make us do anything we don’t want to do… right?

Sure, but at the end of the day not obeying the speed limit will get us a fine, and not doing what Jesus says will get us hell.  We won’t have any excuses because we’ve been told many, many times!

80 km per hour.

“Ye must be born again.”

“But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.” Isaiah 28:13

They got tired of God’s Word, they made very bad choices, and they had no excuse when their lives fell apart!  Are we making good choices?
