“Accounting that God was able…”

Hebrews 11.19

Someone once said, “To realize the worth of the anchor we need to feel the storm.”

Thank God for the men and women of the Bible who gave testimony to that very REAL TRUTH!

In fact, are there any people we can think of in the Bible who DID NOT feel the storm then HAVE OPPORTUNITY to realize the worth of the ANCHOR?

Many were tested – but refused the Anchor…

But EVERYONE who did the “Accounting” found “that God was able”!!!

When was the last time we saw, “that God was able”?

What testimony do we have that we were clearly, “Accounting that God was able”?

What story, can we tell others, when we learned that "God was able”?  And we know He is still able?  Amen?

From this passage in the Book of Hebrews we see, that when Abraham was tested, tried and challenged - he then realized the worth of the Anchor… God was, and God is still able!  Let’s remember that when we feel the storm this week, or later today, or in a few minutes!
