“The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.”

Proverbs 11:5

So, “righteousness” has to do with being “in Christ” as a born again Christian, and then trying to do the right thing.  The word “perfect” has to do with being mature, complete, not holding back trying to live for God.  The word “direct” means, “to be straight or even; to be (to make) right, pleasant, prosperous:”

The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way:

So, when Christians are trying to live right with God, and growing spiritually, then our path will be much, much easier!

Whew!  That is what I want!

I am constantly praying that God will help my life to be simple, clear and straight-forward!

I do not want trouble!  I do not want confusion!

I do not want to be around people that will lead me astray!

I pray this same thing for my family, friends, and church!  We do NOT want to be “falling” for the lies, deceits, “promises”, fears, etc. - whatever the unsaved world is falling for!

So pray!  Pray for your unsaved family and friends to come to Christ!  Pray for yourself and your loved ones to live right with God!  Pray that we are all growing in Christ!  We DON’T WANT ANYTHING LESS THAN GOD’S BEST FOR US!

The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way:
