...who then can make trouble?

“When he giveth quietness,

who then can make trouble?”

(Job 34:29)

That is a great question!  When God gives quietness, who in the world could possibly make trouble?

NO… body!

We do know that life often has its difficulties and troubles, but the truth is that God has given us quietness and He offers peace in the middle of our storms.

It began at Calvary when Jesus took our sin on Himself.  “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:4-5)  Jesus said, “…him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” (John 6:37)

Now, every single day, He gives quietness, and… “When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble?”

Run with patience,

Pastor
