“…the gate that looketh toward the east…” (Ezekiel 43:1)
The gate… I love pictures of this gate. Have you hears the song that says, “I will meet you in the morning… Just inside the Eastern Gate over there.”?
This gate, near the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, is also known as the “Eastern Gate”, or the “Golden Gate”

I love this verse! I just absolutely love it!
It’s kind of like in these long lists of people in the book of 1 Chronicles, in these lists of all the things that these people did – and there are a lot of people and they were doing a lot of things (and I realize that this is now probably a ‘run-on’ sentence)… so everyone was doing everything and all of that “…but Asaph made a sound with cymbals…”

Jesus was telling the truth when He said the way of Salvation is narrow! To deny it would be to deny how narrow the path through this rock is!
Jesus was also telling the truth when He said that few people find the way of Salvation! How sad! So listen to what Jesus is saying, Come unto me,

“I love them that love me;” - Proverbs 8.17
I don’t feel there is much I can add to that phrase.
“I love them that love me;”
Wisdom is speaking in this verse, and personified as a good, kind and caring woman - wisdom says,
“I love them that love me;”

Our minds are incredibly powerful. As people we have the capacity to think, to have initiative, to ponder and question, as well as find answers to our questions. How we choose to use our mind is something worth our consideration.
The verse above begins with, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,”

That sounds pretty good to me! Basically, “I’ve done the right thing and now God is giving me what I deserve!” Amen!
