Not God’s people

“If my people...” - 2 Chronicles 7:14

If not God’s people, then who?

I love this verse.  The entire verse says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

If not God’s people, then who?  Who else is called by His name?   Who else but born again Bible believing Christians.  Who else but those who pray only to the Almighty God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ...?

If not those people, who else can pray for this God’s help?

This God is the only God who can hear prayers and answer... It has been tested - I Kings 18 is one example.

There is only one “people” who can make a difference in prayer...

It’s little wonder the devil doesn’t want us to read the Bible, but God does – because the Bible says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”  Thank God for our King James Bible!
