Narrow is the way

“…narrow is the way,

which leadeth unto life,

and few there be that find it.”

(Matthew 7:13-14)

Jesus was telling the truth when He said the way of Salvation is narrow!  To deny it would be to deny how narrow the path through this rock is!

Jesus was also telling the truth when He said that few people find the way of Salvation!  How sad!  So listen to what Jesus is saying, Come unto me,

all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matt 11:28)

Then - even if the way is narrow He will lead the way, He will guide our every path!

·         He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

·         Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

·         Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil. (Proverbs 2:8; 3.5-6; 4.25-27 and many more!)

And then we can know, and we can sing, of His love and goodness to us!

What tho' the way be lonely
And dark the shadows fall;
I know where'er it leadeth,
My Father planned it all.
