He heareth The Prayer Of The Righteous

“he heareth the prayer of the righteous” - Proverbs 15.29b

Do we ever pray and it feels like our prayers just bounce off of the ceiling?  Are there times we pray and it doesn’t feel like we are praying?  Do sometimes we pray and forget that we have prayed?

As normal people we often go around and around with something as “abstract” as prayer but - for those who are saved, and living “right” God always hears their prayers and is ready to answer according to His will.

Prayer for the Christian becomes like breathing.  We need it.  We enjoy it.  We get to where we just have to have it even though there are times we feel we don’t understand a thing about it!

Anywhere, anytime.  Everywhere and all the time.  Often early and part of our Bible reading and devotion.  Throughout the day.  Sometime late.  From a list.  From our heart.  People and names.  Situations and things.  Sometimes planned – often not.  Prayers of need.  Prayers of fear.  Prayers of love and adoration.  Prayers of struggle and difficulty.

“he heareth the prayer of the righteous”

Silent prayer.  Personal prayer.  Public prayer.  Prayer as a church.  PRAYER at every opportunity!  It is the most powerful, unseen, unstoppable method of communication in the universe, and it is at our disposal 24/7!
