Failed Not

“There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken” - Joshua 21.45

It’s a great thing for us to look into the Bible wondering, and then figuring out what God has said about us...

Because...

All the good things God said He would do for these people – He did them!

“There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken”

Too often I think we spend our time just going from one thing to another.  Just kind of “getting by”, hoping that “everything will turn out OK”... we hope... we think… well maybe... :}  :{  :%  :O  :<  :/  (Get the picture?)

That is NOT what God has for us!  God intends for us to know His Word, and His Will, and then live each day “by faith”!

Along with a Bible full of this truth, there are the words of two songs we sing that should encourage and edify us along these lines as well: “The Lord has promised good to me... His word my hope secures.  He will my shield and portion be... as long as life endures.” And also, “Count your MANY blessings, NAME THEM one by one...”

As we read our Bibles, as we pray, as we fellowship together as a church, as we listen to the preaching of God’s Word – what has, and what does God say about us?  Whatever it is - He will do it!  Thank You Lord!
