Being Born Again is Simple!
Getting to Heaven is simple. The Bible is clear and true when it says that God loved the world so much that He sent His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to pay for our sin and to save us. It cost the Jesus Christ everything so that we can get to heaven. God made it possible, and it is meant to be simple!
If we had to be saved based on education, many would miss out. If becoming a born again Christian was based on wealth, more would be left out. If eternal life depended on a person’s moral perfection, everyone would fall short. God made salvation available based on a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ which even a child can exercise. This way, everyone is viewed on the same level in the eyes of God. All must come to Him on the same terms because, “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” And, “the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast:” (Romans 3.23, 6.23, Ephesians 2:8-9)
So, how simple is it to be saved?
Simple as entering a door. “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved…” (John 10:9a).
Simple as calling for help. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved:” (Romans 10:13)
Simple as coming when called. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest:” (Matthew 11:28).
Simple as receiving a gift. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6.23)
Simple as drinking water. Jesus said, “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst;” (John 4:14)
Simple as believing God. “Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life:” (John 6:47).
Simple as choosing to turn around: “…repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.... Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” Acts 26:20, Acts 20:21
Many people stumble at the simplicity of salvation. They often feel that they must do something to earn or deserve salvation.
Yes, something had to be done for salvation to be a gift, and Jesus did it all. All you must do is believe that Jesus Christ the Lord died for your sins, was buried, and rose again the third day, then believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and receive Him into your heart by faith.
Once a person receives Christ as their Saviour there is a change from within, a burden is gone, there is relief and a peace that continues.
Why not make the decision that will change your life forever? It is simple, and it works.
Right now, you can choose to be saved. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.’ (Romans 10:9)
In your own words, from a sincere heart, and based on what the Words of God above says, simply pray to God: Tell Him you are sorry and willing to repent (change) and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save you.

The Legend of Suriyothai
Suriyothai disguised herself as a warrior and followed her royal husband the king out to the battle. In the battle, the Burmese king was just about to kill her husband when she deliberately drove her elephant between the two kings. She saved her husband’s life, but she was killed. Suriyothai gave her life as a substitute for her royal husband. She died so he could live. Jesus Christ died for you so you could live eternally with Him in Heaven.
God made the world and all things therein. Instead of choosing to love and obey God, man chose to disobey and turn away from Him. As a result, our world is full of lawlessness, crime, immorality, adultery, drugs, drunkenness, lying, stealing, cheating, greed, murder, and all kinds of evil.
Physical death is the result of disobeying God. God said, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Ezekiel 18:20). No one is righteous, because all have sinned. We are all under the death penalty. No one can escape death. No one can escape the punishment for their sin which is suffering in the burning flames of hell.
God is just and demands a payment for sin. When you die, you are either going to hell to pay for your sin for all eternity, or you are going to accept the way that God has provided for you and go to Heaven. He has provided a way for every person to be rescued from hell, but the price for sin must be paid for by someone without sin. God, who is without sin, chose to pay the price for our sin. He was born a human named Jesus Christ. He lived a sinless life and then was crucified on the cross, buried, and three days later rose from the dead.
Jesus Christ paid the price for your sins on the cross. “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us…” (1 Thes. 5:9,10). He shed his blood and died for you. He, who was innocent, died for you, who are guilty. “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Cor. 5:21).
Imagine if you were sentenced in a court of law to pay a 10,000 Baht fine, but someone else walked up, pulled out the money and paid the fine for you. The law would no longer have any recourse. The fine was paid in full. The police could no longer come after you and say, “You owe this money!”. This is exactly what Jesus did when He died on the cross. He paid for your sin by dying as your substitute. Just as Suriyothai died so her husband could live so Jesus Christ died for you so you could live eternally with Him in Heaven.
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31). By repenting of your sin and receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior all your sins will be forgiven. God will give you His righteousness so you can live with Him in Heaven. Do you need a Savior? You will either pay for your sins in Hell forever, or you can accept the substitute God provided to pay for your sins.
